Truth Rejecter: Up, Up, & Over

Satan is Poised to Deceive

God
will send strong delusion
when people have not received
 the love of the truth.
Picture
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
And with all deceivableness
of unrighteousness in them that perish;

because they received not
the love of the truth
,
that they might be saved.
And for this cause
God shall send them

that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who
believed not the truth,
but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

God will allow humans
believe a lie if we refuse
to believe the truth.

To illustrate "strong delusion", picture a cloud-like object--similar to a fog in the shape of a ball. That ball is filled with the inability to recognize the truth.

God throws the ball toward a person who continues to reject truth (we'll call him Truth-rejecter). The ball hits the Truth-rejecter then bursts open covering him in a thick cloud of delusion.
It's as if God is saying to those who keep rejecting truth:
I've warned you many times and I've given you many chances but you insist on fighting me. Since you don't want truth, you won't have it!

VROOM!! The delusion ball slams into Truth-rejecter. Like a popped water-filled balloon, the ball opens and a heavy thickness encases him.

Truth-rejecter is unaware that the cloudy prison prevents him from pursuing truth. He calls his cell "security". He believes he has protection and peace of mind. As for eternity, he insists,
"We're all accidents of nature. There's no God, devil, heaven, hell, good, or bad. We create our own reality. Besides, religion is man-made to control the masses. I'm smart and free of it all."

Romans 1:24, 26, 28
God gave them UP...
God gave them UP...
as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
God gave them OVER
to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient...

2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears;  And
they shall turn
away their ears from the truth,
and shall be turned
unto fables.
